I was very excited to receive an advance copy of this new picture book, "Trouble At The Dinosaur Cafe" from Ventorros Press and I wasn't disappointed. I have long admired the poetry of Brian Moses but I didn't realise just how good he was at writing for young children too. "Trouble At The Dinosaur Café," deserves to be a future a classic. The simple but hilarious tale will have children begging to have this re-read to them at bedtime (and any other time for that matter) over and over again.
Then there are the illustrations by the super-talented Hunt Emerson; they work in perfect harmony with Brian Moses' story and are fabulous dino feast for the eyes. Every single picture is full of fun and the dinosaurs' antics leap out from the pages. The whole book is laugh out loud funny.
I gave my Nursery class a sneak preview of the PDF copy yesterday and they loved it unreservedly and universally.
As I said before, a future classic!
