Sonnet Poem For Kids About Crisps or Chips, Whatever You Call Them

Updated: Feb 24

I have a vague memory of being a child in the 80's and telling Mum I love her so much, as much as Cheese and Onion Crisps.

At Christmas, when my best friend's Mum used to ask me what I wanted, I always said, "Walker's Cheese & Onion crisps." She used to buy me a box of 48 and by Boxing Day, most had gone 😱

So, I thought it was about time to write a poem about crisps (or chips) depending where you come from. Forgive me Shakespeare!

If you had to write an ode, a sonnet or any type of poem about crisps, what would be your flavour?
