Raindrop: a personification poem about tears, raindrops and sadness

Raindrop
I fell two thousand metres
I’m just a drop of rain
who landed on your window
and shared a second’s pain
I watched you watched me sliding
I want to set it free
that sadness that you’re hiding
in tears that look like me

💡I love personification poetry. This poem about raindrops and tears compares the two. Could you write a personification poem? Explore how a tear or raindrop may feel in any given context. I'd love to share your own poem about tears and/ or raindrops on my blog.
