Carrot Idol

Always dreamed of being a carrot

Long and orange as can be

But when I look in the mirror

Just a pea stares back at me

So I made myself a fern wig

Sprouting high up to the stars

And I spun inside a sharpener

to point my petit pois

Even slapped on loads of fake tan

Burrowed deep into the ground

But still after all this effort

I am green and small and round
