Super Smile

A smiley face on a yellow ball

Hello, my name is Super-Smile
My superpower’s To Beguile
above your chin, below your nose
my superpower spreads its pose

I cannot fly and I’ve no cape
but I’m unique in force and shape
I’m not a laugh, I’m not a grin
My lips are sealed; my teeth held in

I’m Super-Smile but sometimes hide
those feelings that are trapped inside
and you will know I’m just disguise
when twinkles don’t ignite your eyes

But usually when my corners seek
to upwards climb into each cheek
I’m there because you can’t contain
the joy the neurons sent your brain
